Mission Statement

As a student branch of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, herein NATS, it is the goal of COSNATS to prepare future teachers of singing, through: exposure to current literature and writings in such publications as the NATS Journal of Singing; learning through master classes and workshops sponsored by NATS and eventually hosting such workshops on the Ohio State University campus; and creating a network for students in voice pedagogy, to inform, educate, and contribute to the realm of vocal pedagogy, voice health, repertoire, and other concerns of training of singers.
